WoodMarvels.com August 2010 Review
I just completed the video stats for the month… over 60 000 video views! Wow! It means that WoodMarvels.com videos have now blew past the 600K mark in total views, I’m sure it’s much higher but I only keep track of a handful of them. From the month of July to the month of August, video growth is north of 111% in TOTAL VIEWS! What’s astonishing is that the summer months are our slowest months… September just hit and now things will really get bumping!
So, what happened at WoodMarvels.com over the month of August 2010? Plenty!
- I released updated additional animations to 720p, some with new files types such as DXF for the bus, home gym, serving table, light table, abacus, straddle carrier, organizing rack, stereo bank, porsche, Zulu main battle tank and the CH-47 Chinook
- I wrote about why customers were buying files but not the assembly guides along with them which lead to an update to all the step-by-step assembly instruction guides descriptions site wide being updated. Including the joys of week long renders.
- released my most detailed car model to date, the 1911 Model T runabout and the most detailed building to date, the ANZAC War Memorial.
- detailed my new idea of “gold” settings for the final product shots in my animations… I think it’s a wonderful idea if I don’t write so myself!
- I wrote about Formulor using our models for their digital manufacturing business advertising on the internet and Vectorealism as well on their homepage!
September Plans
I have a very BIG project I’m going to be working on for the next few weeks, that will take-up almost all of my time so I don’t to be posting about many new releases or updates – that will come in October. I’m going to predict video views surpass 700K by October.
