Sydney ANZAC War Monument: New Project Release!
This is the second in a series at WoodMarvels.com – the first will be released in a few weeks regarding the Sydney, Australia area. I saw this building, which I knew nothing about while doing some research and knew the instant I saw it that a laser cut version had to be made available! It took some time, lots of patience but the end result is a pretty accurate representation of the architectural masterpiece, the Sydney ANZAC War Monument.
This model is a WoodMarvels.com Special Edition due to the number of pieces and shier size. I originally designed it to use 6mm thick wood but cut it down to 4mm (6mm EPS files might come at a later date if there is enough interest). This version of the Sydney ANZAC War Monument is a massive 40cm in height and length and has a width of 60cm using 4mm thick material. It’s now available at WoodMarvels.com under Special / Special Editions where you’ll also see the amazing Mars Rover: Opportunity I designed a while back as well. This model has about 140 pieces! Get it now for your laser cutter in EPS format, PDF if you want a heck of a challenge in your woodworking shop or the physical kit shipped right to your door! I haven’t made a DXF version available yet, I’ll get around to that at a later date or by special request… the amount of dog bones required for this model is crazy!
What I’m proudest of, other than finishing this model is the animation I produced afterwards… it’s my new favorite animation. Music, model movement and mood are just perfect! It also has over 2 000 views since I made it public just two days ago. Great!!!
I believe this model really does live up to the name of my company and I look forward to making a bunch of other cool models!
