WoodMarvels.com 2011 January Review

The first month in the year is usually a dozer… meaning lots of sleep and a slowed pace of life. I must say, I took this opportunity to relax a bit… but not too much! I have a bunch of little projects and took time to reflect how I’ll promote WoodMarvels.com in the coming year, thinking of shortcomings and what can be improved.

So, what happened at WoodMarvels.com over the past month of January?

• I released a new model, a kid’s shopping cart (yes, I’m as surprised as you were!) and the animation of how the Flying Car came into being.
• Launched David’s brochure stand
• WoodMarvels.com made a few top lists with Ponoko such as Top 10 Designer Showrooms (still the largest too!) and DIY toys… then later in the month, two more lists!
• I wrote about my aspirations for WoodMarvels.com in the coming 2011 year, the joys of customers not reading before making an order
• Had a new testimonial from Italy, David’s (another one) Model T
• Released some information about my HUGE WOODEN MEDIEVAL CASTLE which will be made available soon after the International Toy Show going-on right now in Germany

Plans for February

A brand-new model just finished rendering… should be launched in the coming days! After that… tying some loose ends!
