Flying Car: Evolution of Design Released
I had been wanting to design a wooden flying car for quite a while, if only because I never saw one EVER attempted so I’d figure to give it a try. The project took me about a week on/off and as you can see, not much about the design changed once the main features were decided.
What I’m really starting to appreciate is how little I really have done in the space of laser cut or cnc router designed wooden toys. The possibilities are truly endless! One day, I was designing a huge medieval castle, the other one, a flying car and the other a shopping cart! That’s diversity!
What I really like about this project is that I think it’s really at the top of my personal list of “best designs” that I’ve done so far. I really like the cool army transport truck I built a few months ago and this has got to be on the same league regarding design and overall satisfaction I got once it was done.
… and yes, the back rotors DO spin! That is something I made sure to enable in this design!
