WoodMarvels.com September 2012 Review
I’m nearing the end of my almost 3 months long quest of bringing a site that’s essentially 4 years old now (WoodMarvels.com) into the modern age… not much NEW stuff being released but a wack load of updates across the board are being done behind the scenes… can’t wait for this to be done and over with! I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me before Christmas hits like getting Volume 4 of my book proofed though I doubt heavily I’ll have it done by the end of the year – we’ll see! Nice thing about CNC and woodworkers in general is they don’t cut stuff based on New Years Resolutions!
September 2012 Happenings
- Jarek built a very cool monster box – a project I look forward to engraving and cutting myself here but Lin out of California beat me to it!
- Posted about an article about a little known guy in Australia who made a really cool skyline using nothing but a laser machine!
- AskJerry got a new project released on WoodMarvels.com – an Astronomical Candle holder!
- I updated a whole wack load of 3D assembly animations… I’m seriously losing track of how much is actually being rendered and thrown out there… WoodMarvels.com has over 200 products and about a quarter needed updating! Yeah, the F35 Joint Strike Fighter was among them including some medieval stuff!
- Released a new CNC project – a desktop organizer.
- Publicized the fact that WoodMarvels.com does have a Facebook profile… finally got around to updating it!
October 2012 Goal
Wrap-up these never ending animation updates… just about there! Get my CNC project backlog up to date and start working on Volume 4!
