Server Migration Done!

CNCKing.com traffic keeps going up and as a result, did a major clean-up to keep everything running smooth after hitting the CPU/RAM limit on the system for the past week. The site was thrown offline for about 8 hours last week because of these major traffic spikes – great problems to have but sucks for everybody as everything slowed right now or was simply unavailable… I actually got a few complaints!

Things should be quicker and more responsive for at least the next few months – if not, will have to move CNCKing.com to a dedicated server! Yeah… we are experiencing THAT KIND OF GROWTH! I had a chat with the server admin and they told me a virtual dedicated server just can’t handle the traffic and bandwidth requirements of the site… so happy that YouTube is handling all the videos otherwise I’d be on a dedicated server long ago.
