WoodMarvels.com January 2010 Review

Well, it’s been yet another month already… time sure goes fast! The month of January is the month my company, WoodMarvels.com, hit yet another milestone… 20 000 3D assembly animation video views in one month. Considering I no longer have access to view the stats on a few other video services due to my current location within China the number is actually much higher!

So, what happened this month?

  • I got muzzled (and left) on a woodworking forum because I has the gull to defend myself due to the falsehoods certain individuals were trying to spread about WoodMarvels.com.
  • Released my second wooden Mangonel design, far more powerful than the first along with a Baliste and Home Gym Exerciser.
  • Launched a new blog design that no longer cuts off the edges of the videos in addition to looking much cleaner than what I had previously.
  • Offered to release other optimized EPS designs to fit other board sizes if a customers laser cutter didn’t allow for the large sheet sizes I use.
  • Published a testimonial from R. Wallace regarding WoodMarvels.com’s Straddle Carrier B (more on the way by the way).
  • Wrote a short article about a 44 thousand dollar wooden car that is simply amazing!
  • …and wrote about my next project which is coming together nicely, a Mars Rover!

WoodMarvels.com Volume III

I’m still debating with myself whether to publish this book in print or just make it available digitally – it will have some of my best designs in it to date that I made since the publishing of my last book, WoodMarvels.com Volume II. I’m a few weeks away from finally getting my science fiction novel (2847 A.D.: Solar Horizons) published and with that, new opportunities will present themselves which will help me make a decision on this matter.
