Trotec’s Speedy 300: CNC Laser Machine Walkthough
As part of the redesign of CNCKing.com (almost done!), I’ve created subcategories with a “heart” CNC “machine type” where I plan on adding lots of additional resources and materials for enthusiasts and to help shop owners get the most out of their laser. Each category will have a video of me showcasing one (or more) or the CNC machines that can cut category related projects. One machine I’ve had the pleasure to use is Trotec’s Speedy 300… if you want to find-out more about this laser, watch this video!
I’ve been very busy trying to improve the communication and layout of the new site – I’ve received lots of feedback and am implementing as much as possible to make CNCKing.com easier and more straight forward. I’ve done an incredible amount of filming and it takes lots of time to film, edit and then post the files but its work that must be done and I nominate myself! All these additions and modifications have pushed projects back a bit but it’s for the greater good.
The last two nights, I’ve been busy video taping a walkaround of my ShopBot Desktop – I think the entire video is over 30 minutes long but goes through EVERYTHING relating to CNC table routing… I plan on doing a longer form of the CNC laser once I got a few more issues sorted and doing the same for my 3D printer… that’s next on the docket. Yeah, I still have a book to finish but with all this CNC filming and hands-on experience, I’ll be able to throw this knowledge into it once all these smaller issues are put to rest.
