Testimonial: Stephane from Switzerland

If you look a little on the WoodMarvels.com, you will find that there are a few PDF blueprints that are free – not just my first version of my Medieval Castle Walls.

I got an order about a week ago from Stephane which included one such free model, the first version of my Mobile Crane and Stephane was kind enough to send me pictures of the completed model along with a great testimonial of how it went.

Sorry for my English… I learn it on Philippines travel and on the web… 😉 I speak French.

You can see how I cut the 4mm plywood A4 format (210mmX297mm). Then modified the model (hole more big, some personal modification) is cutting, just for the test. I like it !! 😉

Back of the model, built using dowels.

More simple of long and bad explaination with my bad english, I join the Autocad file I use to cut it. More than 2 hour to retrace all from your plan ! 😉 It’s not my work… 😉 If I understand, an Eps file is a vectorial postscrit file like a PDF. I have a little free software for convert PDF to DXF work perfectly. After, scaling and adapting for tool are not even problem ! 😉

For the corner (mill of 1.5mm diameter), a little time of sand paper for break the corner, and that ok. My first model you can see on the pic is en test, fast building, the next will be better ! 😉

– some best touch of sand paper for a best ajusting ! 😉
– A more better picture with my camera the next time. 😉
“See” you soon !

Stephane
