Kaetemi, a very talented 3d modeler now releases a new model on 3DMarvels.com, he calls it Santa Girl, I call it Awesome! It stands 16.5cm (though you are free to scale it to life size if you wish) and is available in STL, COLLAda and X3D – the nice thing about X3D is you also get the color map, meaning you can 3D print this in color if your 3D printer has this feature available.

Rendering information

I’m really looking forward to getting a lot more models on the site, the animation below took over a week just to render, running 24 hours a day for all 7 days! New industrial workstation will cut that to a 10th of that meaning there won’t be such a big gap between product launches and higher quality media. When a model takes longer to render using a computer than to 3d print, you know you got to upgrade something!
