After reading David’s description of how this design came about… every house should have a good deeds tree!

‘making their bed’ or ‘cleaning their room’ without mum having to ask.

It might have been helping one of their friends at school, etc. When they share they are given something to put on the tree. Initially the leaders wrapped a few bits of popcorn in cellophane to represent flowers and they attached a couple of green paper leaves to the popcorn.

The whole thing is tied together with fine wire which can then be pushed through the holes in the branches. As the program progresses the flowers are replaced by small imitation fruit. The idea being that our good deeds can blossom and grow into something bigger and better. It was amazing to see the tree blossom and grow.
