Please note that unlike plastic, wood will swell when exposed to damn environments, as this item may go outdoors, applying some varnish, resin and some a few tacks to strengthen the design is heavily advised. Also, you will need to purchase a wooden dowel at your local lumber yard for the perching of the birds with a diameter of 3/16 inches or 5 mm or 0.5 cm.
