Naming mistake: Onager VS Mangonel

I just realized that I made a slight mistake in my naming conventions regarding my Onager series of siege weapons. I’ve research the topic in a little more detail and from what I can see, an Onager uses a sling approach with a hanging “sack” of stuff at the end of a long pole while the Mangonel uses a static rod that looks like a big spoon to project materials, so what I was really designing were Mangonels, not Onagers.

What probably screwed me up was that many of these siege weapons have similar origins, with siege engineers modifying them to suit their needs and given them a new name as a result. There is an evolution in siege weaponry that goes back and forth so they share many similar components.

As a result, I’ll rename these models Mangonels because, although not now, I might want to design an Onager at a later date.
