Mobile Crane Update: DXF and EPS now available!

Thanks to Stephane who gave two great testimonials, one about our free mobile crane build and the other update in which he  added pincers to the mobile crane, the file he used to make it (with pincers) is now available on WoodMarvels.com in DXF format. You can now cut the exact same model as him, using your own router!

I’ve also taken the liberty of re-adding the EPS file of the same model to the site which I took off because the model required dowels. For those of you who like dowels, go nuts… but I still prefer the precision behind Mobile Crane B if you are going to spend money on a laser cutter, wood and a file from us. The option is there at least.

WoodMarvels.com going DXF

I’ve had several requests to offer our files not only in PDF and EPS formats but DXF as well for those of you who don’t have a laser cutter but do have a computer controlled router. Rest assured, I’m seriously looking into this now after a brief exchange of e-mails with Stephane regarding what’s involved bringing DXFs to WoodMarvels.com. My first priority at the moment is getting my wooden Mars Rover finished… got some amazing progress done on it today so it should be much longer.
