Migration Update (Sunday)

Yesterday I finished the migration of all 3DMarvels.com’s content and the day before, both WoodMarvels.com and 3DMarvels.com’s blogs. Today my goal is to get all the ShopBot CNC Table Router projects uploaded and get a bit more of the design organized on the site.

Told FaceBook.com to merge both sites into the new CNCKing.com page I created and got this blog’s RSS feed running off that site as well.

The laser stuff will take a while but some important changes I’ve decided to do is add myself in the “collaborations” section as well – this site isn’t ME but the business so I need to remove myself from it as much as I can. When I first started WoodMarvels.com, I was the ONLY designer on the site, since then, well, the list has grown and continues to grow! I think putting myself at an even keel with others on the site is only fair though I have a major advantage in the number of designs on the site with David Newman being the second – his 23 products I believe represent about 10% of what I designed but he is catching-up fast!

The streamlined category system makes so much more sense – instead of some categories with hundreds of products, each one has a good number and far less duplicates than the old sites. I’ve also taken the opportunity to compress the images, so the site not only will look better but also load faster!

The site has never been so confusing and broken! Will get that fixed in a jiffy!
