Medieval Castle Walls B: New 3D Printer Project Launch!

It has taken a while and been documented well on this website – my newest 3D printer project, Medieval Castle Walls B – is finally available here on CNCKing.com! This is by far the best 3D printer project I’ve ever designed and it’s thanks to my 3D Systems Cube that it was possible to thoroughly test this model out and so many aspects of it that otherwise, I wouldn’t have been confident enough to release.

There are a lot of compromises that need to be made to make a 3D print workable for an extrusion 3D printer but I’ve finally got the hang of it, literally – I know now what will work and what won’t most of the time during the build process and more often then not, I’m right!

This just goes to prove that just because you have a 3D extrusion printer, you aren’t stuck doing boring projects – although ultimately I see myself designing fully articulate and moveable toys like you see in the laser and router sections here on CNCKing.com – until then, I’m having a blast with my 3D printer exploring the outer limits of the software and hardware that make my creations possible.
