Medieval Castle Village & Siege Weapons: New Laser Cut Project Launch!
Andrea designed this amazingly complete Medieval Castle Village and didn’t just stop there, thew-in a bunch of very innovative and very cool matching Siege Weapons too! There are lots of moving and dynamic parts to this project – it’s incredibly well conceived and well executed. I’m a huge fan!
The total piece count of this entire project is well over a thousand but there are instructions included with the digital files to help make sense of it all – the design is straight forward, lots of unique pieces and a very good size as you’ll see from the video below of the finished project.
What I REALLY like about this project is the “ground” pattern she made around the buildings… I’ve been making things square and flat but that idea gives me so much inspiration – makes total sense but never dawned on me to do this. Great feature! I really like the tested and proven mechanics behind her siege weapons and draw bridge – a fantastic design all around!
I’ll be slowly rendering the 3D animation for this project – have so many things on the go that my focus is to get a few big road blocks out of the way first but as you can see from the video below, this design is proven and I can’t wait to get all the animations done for it.
This project is spread across thirty two 6mm thick sheets measuring 790 x 385 mm and is available right now under Collaborations / Laser Cutter / Garuti on CNCKing.com.
