DXF coming to WoodMarvels.com :-)

After a lot of testing with several friends who own and one that actually builds CNC routers, I’m happy to announce that the bugs have all been worked-out with DXF file formats coming to WoodMarvels.com.

What has WoodMarvel.com’s DXF files been tested on?

Corel9, Corel12, Corel X4, Rhino4, PartWorks, VCarvePro, Cut2d, Sketchup 7,
AutoCAD 2008, AutoCAD 2009 and DoubleCad.

Odds are, if you have a CNC machine, you have at least one of these programs from which my files will work well in. I very special thanks goes to Bill, Stephane, David and John whose guidance and testing made this dream of mine become reality.

What is the release date?

I have A LOT of files that need to be converted over, well north of a hundred in fact so if there are some you want DXF access to RIGHT NOW to purchase at WoodMarvels.com please contact me and I’ll put those at the top of the queue. There is one DXF available right now thanks to Stephane, of a Mobile Crane with many more rolling out in the coming month.

Right now, I’m finishing-up a transport truck and once that is done, will go into file conversion hell for a few weeks to bring these files across the board. I’ll make announcements at the blog as soon as they become available.
