CNCKing.com Review: November 2013
I think this is the first time all year I’ve actually published my monthly review on time! The last two weeks have pretty much sucked all my spare time – it’s a massive CNC router project that I’ll start blogging about in the coming days – but otherwise, got some cool stuff done and out the door including new volume pricing for my latest book!
CNCKing.com September 2013 Happenings
- I did a few guest posts about You don’t need social media for sales!, Self-Publishing 101: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly! and Publishing Towards Success.
- Released some new projects here on CNCKing.com including a bunch from David Newman like Rack Stand (spray cans), G-Gauge Train Tracks and a Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor while I released my Kangaroo Shelf with the accompanying Kangaroo Laptop Stand being released momentarily. Oh yeah, there was also an awesome Kids Medieval Castle coming out of Russia and my Medieval Castle Walls B.
- Did a recap of why you need to learn to love CNC machines and added it as a heading on this blog along with thoughts on tiling projects that don’t normally fit the platform you are using.
- Wrote and released video about what it costs to run a laser cutter, a 3D printed weaved basket and the evolution of my 3D printed castle walls design.
- Had fun with the city the shop is in, wood isn’t recyclable!

Had great interviews with:
- Chris Economides of Radecal Machine Sales & Service (UK)
- MiniMetalMaker’s David Hartkop (USA)
As well as was truly inspired by Lincoln Electric’s Fabtech 2013 Promo Video and did a quick review of Trotec SpeedMarker Galvo Laser Engraver and Cutting Systems.
