CNCKing.com Review: January 2013
I’m surprised I got much of anything done over the past month – most of the time was spent on the road moving, finding a new place to live, getting broadband installed (just activated today) and moving boxes of various sizes all over the place. Moving is never fun but you got to go where the greatest opportunity and interest leads you! As always, I took the opportunity to review 2012 and see where things were and are heading – and it’s all great!
This is the first month in a very long time that I wasn’t able to launch any new videos – will make-up for it in Feb!
January 2013 Happenings
- Thanks to Evright.com, I got a bunch of my stuff branded with my logo
- I finally finished the Eiffel Tower design that took me the better part of a month part time to build and test… not only that, David Newman cut one with his Trotec Speedy 500 and stuck his lizards on it too, documenting the entire process!
- Talking about lizards, we got a new designer on the site and he had a laser cut lizard inspired jewelry box!
- I hinted at the upcoming Plasma Dragon which is a new CNC plasma cutting file for CNCKing.com which launched yesterday
- and… did a quick review of a bunch of videos that have hit the 50K views mark on YouTube.com in addition to documenting the release of our 800th blog post!
Goal for February
I’d like to launch a system that enables full transparency with all the designers on CNCKing.com – will see how it goes but looks very promising and would help this site attract even more amazing designers!
