CNCKing.com Review: February 2014

The month of February and most of March is still heavily focused on getting CNCKingdom.com on its own feet… there is no way around this intensive work and it does affect my designing time severely but it’s got to be done and long term, it will be a valuable resource and marketing tool for me. Right now, I have more than a week in the interview queue filled-up and soon I’ll kick-off the audio podcast… lots more people will learn about CNCKing.com and how to design for CNC machines as well!

CNCKing.com February 2014 Happenings

  • I booted-up my Job Control X to get some cutting estimates using a Trotec Speedy 400 – awesome cutting times… almost 12 minutes for 3 Super Snails (updated 3D rendering coming shortly) and roughly 6 minutes for a Rhino… both using a 80 watt CO2 tube. Oh yeah, Bird House D is done in 3 minutes!
  • I got interviewed by 30 Foot Gorilla… thanks Shah!
  • I launched a new CNC laser/router project including Bootilicious Shelves and laser exclusive Bird House E.  Brian also launched his laser cut Delphinus aircraft too!
  • I wrote about my success with my latest CNC volume and explained why I’m not crazy about the current way woodworking is shown to others with tons of measurements and different material thicknesses and types.
  • I wrote about how well my Eiffel Tower is doing in search engines and why I don’t have CDR files on my site (other than by request).
  • Of course… all this growth and ideas have made me take a step back and see how things go in other areas.
