CNCKing.com Review: February 2013
This month I reflected a bit a on what is CNCKing.com and also had an interesting ISBN issue on Amazon.com that caused some of my books to go up to 20x their normal value! As usual, I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked but in hindsight, still got lots of good stuff done!
February 2013 Happenings
- Released a new Plasma Cutting digital file, a great looking Plasma Dragon
- Released a new Laser Cutting digital file, Eiffel Tower (with evolution and cutting videos) along with Edgar releasing his Ray Gun and Brian his AirShark
- Released a new 3D Printing digital file, Bathsheba’s Geared Widget and Grant’s Stelliform Owl
- I finished-up a bunch of updates across a few digital files
- Did a few calculations with Trotec Laser’s JobControlX for Brian’s AirShark
- I re-posted a blog article by Bill Young about collaborations with designers
- Kazuo, in Japan gave me a great testimonial about cutting my Eiffel Tower after cutting it for 15 hours and Jerry was inspired to get a laser cutter!
Goal for March
I’ve got to tidy-up the site a bit more, after the merger of two companies (WoodMarvels.com and 3DMarvels.com), I focused my energies elsewhere and the site became somewhat inconsistent in a few areas which I’ll be addressing. Oh yeah, would also like to wrap-up my 4th volume book! It’s coming along nicely but have to design a few more laser cut models to round it out… always more work than time!
