CNCKing.com Review: August 2013
August was a pretty busy month, many small projects came to pass and I finished-up my upcoming book to the point where it’s just being fine tuned by a few people to give it one more once-over to make sure there aren’t any spelling or grammar mistakes that were missed during the previous rounds of editing. I’m confident that I’ll be able to release my book in the end of September digitally on the site and depending on the shipping and processing times, the physical version as well.
My goal last month was to send the book off to the publisher (see book cover) with a foreword by Ben Heck but I decided as this book is pretty big, to have it edited a little bit more beforehand – hopefully the proof is 100% perfect which will save lots of time!
August 2013 Happenings
- I started to release more “educational” and videos thanks to my new whiteboard releasing a video about how to make a Simple 3D Printed Vase (was released), Erupting Pyramid and Medieval Walls in addition to a CNC table routed Croc Box.
- Wrote about why it’s important to test 3D printed projects, 5-month review of my 3D Systems Cube, ugly model fixing, comparison of CNC machine types and a generated word cloud.
- I also started a series of blogs behind the conversion of my laser cut Sydney Harbor Bridge from laser to CNC table router (with a lot more coming over the coming weeks.
Goal for September 2013
