CNC Demo Video Presentations: Let’s get Cracking!

It’s hard to believe but it has been almost a year since my last video appearance here on CNCKing.com (formerly WoodMarvels.com) and during that time, I’ve learned a lot working on my HowToChinese.com to make the presentations more to the point, clearer and more interesting. Let’s look back how it all began!

Once I got my camera equipment during my short stint in Canada, I ran to the forest and announced that I’d get into live video to help showcase the CNC projects found on my site. October 24th, 2011.

Afterwards, I headed down to ShopBot Tools HQ in North Carolina and brought back a ShopBot Desktop machine. November 12th, 2011.

Once I got it into my parent’s garage, I did my first video – a CNC table router version of my Stegosaurus dinosaur. November 16th, 2011.

My 37th video was completed many months later and I took a plane to Australia but sadly, the ShopBot was stuck in storage until I moved yet again to my present location. June 10, 2012.

Now that I’m more settled than usual, I’ll be releasing both CNC table router and 3D printing live demos from now on. Laser cutting project demos will follow suit soon depending on circumstances as will plasma. Yeah – I want to design for all of them! April 1st, 2013

So, what happened to the beard between the last two videos? Watch the end of this video for the answer.

I also played a bad student for Lucky’s videos too… that was fun!
