City of Swan: Wood isn’t Recyclable!

I got this a few days ago when I put out the recyclable trash bin at the curb, a few hours later, I found this on it with all my stuff still in there!

I seriously wished this was a joke but it isn’t… they take ripped-up and written on paper, they take dirty tin cans, they take half drunk beer bottles but wood… HELL NO, THAT’S CONTAMINATION! Apparently in the city of Swan, wood isn’t recyclable.

The solution? Throw wood in the trash bin to go at the bottom of a landfill where it will slowly rot over the next 100 years due to a lack of oxygen… to be fair, it was mostly MDF which isn’t wood but then again, on the tag, they wrote down wood, not overpriced cardboard.

Not impressed.
