3D Systems’ ZPrinter 850 goes live!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to spent two days at 3D Systems HQ and saw their entire product line of printers and the ones I fell in love with were the ZPrinter series… it had so many advantages including an internal material recycling system (so no waste), relatively cheap printing material and on some models, the ability to actually print in any color you want directly on the model while it’s being 3D printed!

Now 3D Systems has launched a new even larger format printer, the ZPrinter 850!

It has all the advantages of the ZPrinter 250 but offering a much larger build size of 20 x 15 x 9 inches (508 x 381 x 229 mm) which in the 3D printer world is massive! Although this printer costs as much as the average house or expensive exotic car, if I won the lottery tomorrow, this is the machine I’d buy in a heartbeat!
