It’s pretty incredible what some of our customers come-up with or create outlay they allow us to take with the projects they have at hand. I had a customer ask me the other day if we can make custom medallions and the answer is yes!
It doesn’t stop there though, we can make custom medallions out of any material, any size, any thickness, any design and any shape. You want your custom medallions to be in the shape of a horse with custom laser engraved or CNC routed details inside for the person receiving it? NO PROBLEM!
You have an upcoming corporate event and want to hand out special custom medallions made out of stainless steel inlayed in a beautiful mahogany or pine outer shell with writing around the entire circumference? NO PROBLEM!

We are able to mix and match materials, however you wish when ever you wish, so you aren’t stuck to any one way of having your very special custom medallion created. Everything is made to your spec, how you want it!
You also don’t need to be a graphic designer, it helps for sure but we have full design capabilities in house, so if all you have is an idea sketched on a napkin, we can take that and making something real from it!
In this case, it’s a simple fiber laser color changed piece of acrylic. Unlike printing, this color change to off-white is PERMANENT and then we switch tubes in our Austrian CNC laser “on the fly” using software, and cut it out using our CO2 laser source.
This custom medallion as a result, can be made out of wood, laminate, veneer, steel, acrylic or just about anything else, including engraved right into stone or cement!
In this case, the custom medallion was color changed at 600 DPI which leads to an extremely precise and solid design. Not only that, each design can be the same or completely different, so you can have each medallion not only personalized but completely different from one another however you wish!
We can also make a mix and match, meaning we can make matching stencils, stamps and other accessories that go with your design and those can be at the same or different scale to another.
For example, if you were mailing out this custom medallion, we can make a matching stamp with your address and your logo (if this wasn’t your logo) into a custom self-inking stamp too!
Making custom medallions is among the thousands of other things we can do, for instance, this could be easily modified to fit as a coaster insert, made smaller to form jewelry, made much larger for custom signage.
The options are as endless as the applications they can fit into.
You can see the incredible precision and solid lines produce by our Austrian laser, even if we made a thousand of these, in different orientations, they would be all identical and just as precise down to 5 nanometers of placement.
