We had some scrap anodized aluminium so it was cut down to size to show an example to a recently customer of ours of what we could do. There are two versions we generated but we can easily make them far more custom with your full contact information, QR codes, logo… basically anything you want including a highly detailed map!
In this case, CNCROi.com used black anodized aluminium, the advantages of this material over laminate is that it will last a lot longer and is less prone to damage. We have harsh winters here so the right grade of anodized aluminium will keep them looking “new” and “fresh” for years to come!
General layout of a vineyard are having your grapes in rows, so indicating location on the start of each row is a quick and easy way to coordinate general tasks from planting to picking when the season comes.
The added advantage of these tags is that if you also host tourists, if they ever get lost and have no idea where they are, they can just tell you the closest information on a location marker and voila, you know exactly where they are to fetch them before they pig out on all your produce!
These anodized aluminium tags can also be customized and color coded, so have different sections of your vineyard indicated in blue, green, black, purple and the list goes on. This is a great way to show different species and grades that are being grown across a vast acreage.
In the above example, we showed a “full” vineyard location tag but if you want to save a bit of money (and materials), we can also make a more compressed version that gives the same information but in a more compact format.
The process is the same, in this case, instead of using laser time to put in South, we just put a S and same with Row being replaced by R. Again, this can be completely customized to your budget and application… for a hobby farm, the smaller version would be more than fine while for tourists, the larger version may be best.
The process for making either anodized aluminium location indicator is the same, just one is faster than the other.
These scrap anodized aluminium had a bit of wear on them, hence seeing the “fading” along the edge but we get these in large quantities where this isn’t an issue.
