This blog post will be our 268th since the inception of CNCROi.com almost two years ago! A lot has changed since then during this process of turning our clients imagination into reality. As we grew in machines, materials and expertise, out clients around the world have enjoyed our quick turnaround and creativity when it came to handling projects.
We’ve completed projects across a very wide spectrum, from military to birthday parties! One minute, we are going into secure areas that are full of facial recognition cameras and the next, picking what piece of the cake we want to eat… it’s quite a contrast!
The shop alone has changed dramatically to take into account this rapid evolution, the above is how it all started (that’s the crate holding our Austrian dual-sourced industrial laser) and below, what ONE WALL looks like now – not in the photo below are things like extensive material storage, other CNC machines, a sand blaster and offices… when CNCROi.com started, it was in a two car garage, now we take over a significant part of a large industrial warehouse!
To best illustrate how dramatic our capabilities have grown, take a look at the Corian work we’ve done. At first, it was straight engraving using the laser… the results looked cool.
Now we do 3D carving and paint filling using a combination of our CNC machines!
These capabilities just keep on increasing as we cross-pollinate what we learn from one project and apply it to the next. What’s even better is that this knowledge is often material agnostic, meaning what we fine tune with Corian can just as easily be applied to wood or even laminates. That’s what makes working at CNCROi.com not feel like a job at all, it’s more like a passion.
As the vast majority of our work is covered by NDAs, we’ve done some awesome work that will never see the light of day on this website so the initial challenge of showcasing our capabilities without showing client work has actually not been an issue at all. There are a few rare exceptions though where we deal directly with the general public, the results are just as spectacular.
As we’ve continued to grow, our goal of “Turning Imagination into Reality” for clients far and wide has been very much at the forefront of what we are doing. We do everything from custom anodized aluminium name badges…
to custom furniture!
As we build everything FOR our clients, it allows us incredible flexibility regarding material choices. If you want a wall plaque, we can make it out of Corian, Wood or even Laminate or Acrylic! It’s completely up to you!
